SEATING

TYPES OF SEATING

We use heritage carriages on all our trains.

The seat allocated is yours for the day, which in most cases means that you will travel forwards in one direction and backwards in the other.

You will be seated side-by-side (one window seat and one aisle seat) at a table of four unless you purchase a table for two (window seats opposite each other).  Tables for two are available in First Class and Premier Dining only.  A supplementary fare per person is payable.

Pathfinder Railtours
Over the years Pathfinder Railtours has raised more than half a million pounds for charity through the generosity of the many passengers that have supported our on-train raffles, willingly assisted by our brilliant team of volunteer stewards.Outside of our trains, over the years members of our team have privately been heavily involved in fundraising.Currently, our very own Alice, who works in the Booking Office has set herself the challenge of running five half- marathons in 2025 to raise money for Great Western Air Ambulance Charity . GWAAC was one of our charities that our on-train raffles supported last year and both Wendy and Alice had the opportunity to deliver a cheque to their base last July. During their visit they had a tour of the base and learnt more about what GWAAC do. Alice was so moved and inspired by her visit that she decided to set herself this challenge. So far this year she has run the Gloucester Half Marathon, The Big Half in London and more recently, the Cheltenham Half Marathon. Her fourth race is this Sunday where she will be participating in the Bath & Bristol Railway Races which follows the route of the original train line from Green Park Station in Bath to Bristol Temple Meads. The Half Marathon runs out and back to Bitton Train Station, where part of the route runs alongside the Avon Valley Railway. If you would like to donate and help support Alice in her challenge, or just to follow her journey, please visit her fundraising page for more information https://sportsgiving.co.uk/sponsor/activity/running-five-half-marathons-in-2025/alice-chestertonThank you from us all and a big thank you especially from Alice! 🏃‍♀️🎽👟 ...
